As some of you know, I have sold off the Canon 5D Mark II and upgraded to the Canon 5D Mark III. I have been dying to get some shots in all week, but unfortunately it has just been downright freezing. Of course Illinois with the time change in effect at this time of year it also gets dark at around 5pm so I have no light to work with by the time I get off work.

Well yesterday that changed, I said forget it and got out of work about 30 minutes early. Early enough to manage to catch a shot of the sunset near my home. As well as a very unique and favorite steel wool picture! Thanks to my buddy Chaz for helping me spin as I controlled cameras, we got some amazing shots. Below are the first two real pictures that have came off the new 5D III’s sensor.

If you enjoy my work please comment/share/critique. Cheers!
